Psst… The Big Wonderful Opening Day!

We love The Big Wonderful and all their events! (Check out our blog post about the Friday Night Bazaar as well)

This Saturday, May 2nd 2015, The Big Wonderful is back with their big and wonderful event.

This event is an outdoor sustainable market with food, flea market goods and live entertainment. Over 100 craft vendors will be participating!

They also have a large outdoor craft beer garden (built out of a cool storage container), beach volleyball (not something you see everyday in Denver!), an urban farm and a full stage.

This event is a weekly recurring event and it kicks off this weekend with a “Derby theme” in honor of the Kentucky Derby.

The musical line-up this weekend includes: Rob Drabkin, Highland Ramblers, Hilltop Harvest & Gypsy, Cattle Drive.

    The Big Wonderful is amazing!

What better way to spend a Saturday than with family and friends, enjoying music, food and tons of crafts.

Plus, you had me with beach volleyball!!! That’s how I want to spend my weekend in Denver!!! Doing something no one would ever expect or imagine. Fun times!

This sounds like there’s a little something for everyone. What a fun event! I would love to peruse the flea market and craft venders, stop for a bite of lunch, and continue on my merry way, all while listening to local musicians.

I will not, however, be joining in on the beach volleyball, or I would be continuing on my merry way straight to the hospital! Ha! I’d be happy to watch, however…with something yummy to eat in my hands. Thanks for sharing about this exciting function!

This sounds like a terrific event! Flea market plus food plus good entertainment equals fun to me! I love how this year’s theme revolved around the Kentucky Derby too.
