Denver’s biggest and most anticipated fashion show is here! Denver Fashion Weekend (a.k.a DFW) presented by Schomp Automotive, kicked off their Spring weekend last night with an award ceremony, and will be followed by 3 nights of fashion for all, and an incredible lineup of mile-high artists, stylists, and designers. Here are the three I’m most excited about!
1) Shop Zoe Life – Presenting tonight Zoe will showcase athletic wear in a way the runway has never seen before. I can’t wait to meet this Australian born actor/designer/founder!
2) Rachel Marie Hurst – Known for her femininity meets edgy meets daring designs, Rachel Marie Hurst will debut an anticipated collection of new pieces this Saturday, May 2. This charming designer, who got her start in fashion at the University of Colorado, says she’ll be bringing her A-game to this year’s showcase, and you better believe that I, and many others, will be on the edge of our seats.
3) Scotch & Soda – Scotch & Soda is scheduled to present on Saturday, May 2 for the local and international fashion night. The Amsterdam-based fashion brand will be presenting the entire second segment of the show, which will showcase looks for both men and women. This is Scotch & Soda’s first runway presentation in Colorado so there are only a few seats left for this one! Better giddy up!

May 5, 2015 at 2:50 pmI’m really the opposite of a fashionista, which is a fashionidiot. Still, I can’t help but get a little excited by a runway show of fancy duds and pretty out-there hair-dos. This would be really entertaining to watch. Judging by those top two pictures alone, there will be some jaw-dropping moments on the runway at this event.
Okay, no disrespect intended–I just really want to know. Who wears outfits like in the top two pic, do you have to mortgage your house to get one, and where do they wear them? Educate me! 🙂
