Biker Jim’s Gourmet Dogs started off as a sidewalk food cart in Downtown Denver by Jim Pittenger (aka Biker Jim). After Pittenger’s hot dogs became so popular, he started to open more and more food carts around town. Eventually Pittenger realized that Denver simply loves his hot dogs so much, that it was time to open a brick-and-mortar location. That’s when Biker Jim’s Gourmet Dogs opened up in the Ballpark neighborhood. At Biker Jim’s Gourmet Dogs, you can expect to find traditional hot dogs, speciality hot dogs (such as the bacon wrapped hot dog), and not-so-traditional hot dogs made from elk, veal, buffalo, reindeer, pheasant… and even rattlesnake!
