If you like the outdoors , (hey, you are living in Colorado!), then get ready for the return of The Golden Games.
The Golden Games is a 3 day event that includes a variety of sporting events, live music, demos, clinics, gear swaps and more. The 3 day weekend event was created to celebrate the beginning of the Colorado summer and to highlight the outdoor lifestyle.
You can literally find nearly every outdoor sporting event included, such as: paddle boarding, kayaking, slack lining, surfing, yoga, boater cross, fly fishing and SUP races, to name a few. To see the complete schedule visit their events page.
There is also a luau, live music and even an “afterparty” with an award ceremony.
Nearly all of the events take place at Clear Creek Water Park in Golden. The Sunset Paddle Classic event takes place in Soda Lakes in Lakewood.
The Golden Games are geared for the whole family (including dogs) and they welcome newbies and pros alike.
