This Thursday, September 3rd 2015, the Reel Social Club will celebrate its five-year anniversary with its signature summer event, the Summer Scream ( also in its fifth year) at Lakeside Amusement Park.
Each year, the legendary amusement park shuts down for the event and allows grownups to roam the grounds and experience unlimited rides, unlimited drinks and unlimited fun.
It’s the only private, cultural event to take over Denver’s historic Lakeside Amusement Park – all in support of the Denver Film Society.

If you are a member of the Denver Film Society the General Admission ticket costs $35. For non-members each ticket is $40. There is also a Summer Scream VIP Bus where you get One VIP Ticket , admission to Pre-Party with Cocktails and Light Bites, transportation to and from Lakeside Amusement Park in a Sunset Limousine Party Bus and access to All Rides and Open Bars. Five years ago, two cinematic socialites created a club for the Denver Film Society that combined fundraising for the nonprofit organization with field trips designed to get movie lovers out of darkened theaters once in a while, that’s how Summer Scream came to fruition. Summer Scream runs from 6pm – 11pm.
