Psst… 50+ Denver Restaurants Opening Their Doors Again After Covid-19 Shutdown

Denver Restaurants

Since March, Denver restaurant owners—and patrons—have been holding their breath, waiting until the COVID-19 pandemic subsided enough for them to resume dine-in service. No matter your stance on it, that moment has come. On May 25th, Governor Jared Polis made the announcement: Colorado restaurants are officially allowed to reopen for on-premise dining on May 27th.

While this gives our favorite local restaurants the green light to reopen their dining rooms, it will look different than what we’re used to — at least for the time being. Governor Polis is allowing establishments to reopen at 50 percent capacity (or a total of fifty customers, whichever number is lower). There are also several other necessary precautions to ensure restaurants can operate safely, including more space between tables, more opportunities to eat outdoors, and so on.

Not all restaurants are reopening right away though. Many are still assessing how they can safely do so. Over the next several weeks, you can expect to see more and more restaurants announcing opening dates for dine-in service.

To help you stay in-the-know with all of the re-openings, we’ve created an ongoing list! If you know of any additional businesses not included, please share with us in the comments below!

And if you are planning to stay at home for a little while longer, there are still plenty of restaurants offering pickup and delivery of both food and booze
