Off the Clock: Vintage Victorian | The Denver Ear

Celebrate the Victorian age of floral cultivation on Friday, April 1st 2016, at Off the Clock: Vintage Victorian at the Denver Botanic Gardens. Taking place in the lush Orangery, tropical Marnie’s Pavilion and Boettcher Memorial Center, Off the Clock explores plants with live music, activities, special dinners at Offshoots Café and drinks at the cash bar.

Event highlights include learning the art of traditional ballroom dancing with Adventures in Dance with live music performed by Cheza String Ensembles, an “Unconventional Women of the West” show by the Legendary Ladies taking place at 7pm & 8:30pm, Nate Hance’s unusual technique of playing classical piano, discovering the etiquette behind a ‘simple’ cup of tea with Judy Williams of Tea Talks, traditional flower arranging at the Mini Tussie-Mussie station, a Victorian costume contest and Social Light’s photo booth for you to capture all the great moments from the event!

Clock: Vintage Victorian will take place from 6pm – 10pm (last entry at 9pm). Tickets are $12 for members, $17 for non-members when purchased online and $17 for members , $22 for non-members when purchased at the door.
