The event features free skating, skate rentals, free hot chocolate, music by DJ Peyton Thomas from Sound Mountain Entertainment, and food available for purchase at the concession stand.

Fire Heart Adventures is hosting an Igloos And Tea workshop. Join them for an adventure in the snow and gain some winter survival skills along the way.

You will learn how to make a snow quarry, how to harvest snow blocks, how to create a winter kitchen and construct an igloo. Just as importantly, pick up tips on methods of heat transfer as well as recognizing and treating hypothermia.

This adventure is family friendly and includes lunch and tea!

Denver7 will host Colorado’s largest New Year’s resolution event at Colorado Mills this Saturday. The New Year New You Expo is an opportunity for the community to explore personal improvement ideas for 2017.

The Denver7 News Team will be onsite to greet the community. Special guest Lace Morris from ABC’s “The Bachelor” and “Bachelor in Paradise” will make an appearance at the expo to meet fans. Those in attendance will have access to companies with information and tools to inspire and support New Year’s resolutions of all types–health, wellness, beauty, cultural, financial, home improvement, child safety and more.

HBO and Sesame Workshop, in partnership with local public television stations, present the Sesame Street: K is for Kindness Tour, a free, multi-city experiential tour timed to and inspired by the new, 47th season of Sesame Street.
