Children’s Museum of Denver at Marsico Campus is hosting its Joy Park Free Night on Friday! Explore 30,000 square feet of outdoor adventure for free. They will be keeping the exhibit open after hours from 4pm–8pm (or until dusk). Please note: these free nights include access to Joy Park only, except for the restrooms, the inside of the Museum will be closed.

The Polish Food Festival is an annual celebration of Polish culture, food and ethnicity. The festival will feature polish food and pastries, booths, live music, folk dancers, folk singers, a pierogi eating contest, a silent auction, and a children’s playground with fun and games.

Colorado Railroad Museum is hosting a Whistle Stop Tour event this Saturday! During the 19th century, politicians would travel by train and stop in towns and cities across the United States to make brief appearances or speeches called “whistle stops.”

Ride behind one of the Museum’s steam or diesel locomotives in passenger cars from different eras in Colorado railroad history. Current politicians and historical re-enactors will be performing whistle stop campaign speeches throughout the day from the back of a festively festooned train car.

Visit the Kids Zone where they will have face painting, a “Selfie Station”, balloon twisting, bounce house, crafting, “CupStruction” and a “Reading Corner” provided by Barnes & Noble at Denver West Village.
