Elitch Gardens is hosting its month-long Fright Fest during the weekends in October that features a special Family by Day event for all ages! Little ghosts and goblins can enjoy Free Candy on the Trick or Treat Trail and partake in several Halloween themed interactive challenges.

Events include the Ghouls Match, where contestants battle it out through various Halloween themed challenges and activities; Scream it Out, an ear-splitting shrieking contest; a costume contest, and of course candy.

Join Iluminar Aerial around the campfire this Halloween for Haunted. They will tell the tales of ghost sightings from around the world, and you get to watch as these ghost stories come to life on the stage as dancers and aerialists fly through the misty air. Tales of dead seamen, lost lovers, ghost inhabited houses, a haunted theatre and witches hung by the neck.

These tales of spirits, who return to haunt the people and places that they left behind, have been recorded throughout history as early as 1st century A.D.
