But what if we told you there was a way you could spend the day at a fun event, eat great food, all while perusing art and handmade gifts from local artisans in one central location?

This season, Denver will play host to several fantastic holiday arts and craft shows where you can check off everyone on your shopping list while supporting local makers! We’ve curated a list of winter-themed arts and craft shows that we are the most excited for this year, so grab your bags and get ready to #ShopLocal!

 

Winter Gift Market

It’s no secret that the Denver Botanic Gardens is one of our favorite places to get into the holiday spirit due to the many trees adorned with lights, their cafe offering hot cocoa, and the gift shop perfect for picking up a holiday gift. But this year they’ll have even more to offer you, including a Winter Gift Market! You’ll find an abundance of handcrafted holiday items, including bath and body products, jewelry, specialty foods, clothing, antiques, and more.

 

Denver Christkindl Market

November 22-23, Times Vary | 16th Street Mall

An annual Denver family tradition, the Denver Christkindl Market is an artisan marketplace where you can shop for locally made gifts, eat authentic German cuisine, drink hot chocolate and enjoy live music! They’ll be hosting the market across from the Clock Tower in the 16th Street Mall from November 22 to December 23—and the cost to attend is absolutely free.

 

Holiday Pop Up Market with The Gathering Place and Art Restart

November 23, 4-8 p.m. | Crazy Moutain Brewery Taproom & Beer Garden

Head to the Sante Fe Arts District this holiday season and shop for locally made gifts for your loved ones! Enjoy perusing work from talented makers, sip on some brews from the Crazy Mountain Brewery Taproom, and support a great cause while you’re at it. A portion of the proceeds go to Art Restart, Denver’s only daytime shelter for women, transgender individuals, and children experiencing homelessness or poverty.

 

Fetch Holiday Markets 2019

November 23-December 15, Weekends, Times Vary | Denver Sports Castle

What was once both the Denver Flea and the Union Station Holiday Market has been rebranded into one massive holiday experience that you don’t want to miss! For three weekends this season, enjoy shopping handcrafted gifts, festive drinks, activities and so much more. Tickets cost $5 and are available here.

 

Stapleton Holiday Bazaar

November 29, 4-10 p.m. | The Shops at Northfield Stapleton

Shop, sip and mingle with some of Colorado’s most talented makers at this year’s Stapleton Holiday Bazaar! Popping up for one weekend only inside the Shops at Northfield Stapleton, this event will feature more than 40 innovative craft vendors sharing their creations. The Sweet William Holiday Market

RiNo Holiday Bazaar

December 8, 15 & 22, 11 a.m.-6 p.m. | EXDO Event Center

What better place to buy homemade gifts than our very own arts district? Mosey over to RiNo to the EXDO Event Center for a must-attend holiday event. With over 70 vendors, you won’t have a hard time finding the perfect presents for your favorite people. In addition to shopping, you’ll also get to enjoy food and fashion trucks, beer and cider tastings, bottomless mimosas, live music, and more!

 

Larimer Square Holiday Market

December 11-15, 12-9 p.m. | Larimer Square

An eclectic Holiday Market is coming to Denver’s most historic block, Larimer Square, this December. Join in on the holiday shopping experience featuring more than 40 carefully curated local makers. Once your shopping list is complete, head into the winter-themed heated pop-up bar, where live entertainment and holiday cocktails will be keeping spirits bright all week long!

 

Jackalope Indie Artisan Fair

The Jackalope Indie Artisan Fair is perfect for those looking for a one-stop-shop for all of their holiday gifts. Booths will be located on the first and second floor mezzanine of the Stanley Marketplace and tickets are not required.
