With the holidays fast approaching, it’s easy to run into the nearest department store for last-minute holiday shopping or get free two-day shipping from Amazon Prime. But what if we told you there was a way you could spend the day at a fun event, eat great food, all while perusing art and handmade gifts from local artisans in one central location?
This season, Denver will play host to several fantastic holiday arts and craft shows where you can check off everyone on your shopping list while supporting local makers! We’ve curated a list of winter-themed arts and craft shows that we are the most excited for this year, so grab your bags and get ready to #ShopLocal!

It’s no secret that the Denver Botanic Gardens is one of our favorite places to get into the holiday spirit due to the many trees adorned with lights, their cafe offering hot cocoa, and the gift shop perfect for picking up a holiday gift. But this year they’ll have even more to offer you, including a Winter Gift Market! You’ll find an abundance of handcrafted holiday items, including bath and body products, jewelry, specialty foods, clothing, antiques, and more.
November 22-23, Times Vary | 16th Street Mall
An annual Denver family tradition, the Denver Christkindl Market is an artisan marketplace where you can shop for locally made gifts, eat authentic German cuisine, drink hot chocolate and enjoy live music! They’ll be hosting the market across from the Clock Tower in the 16th Street Mall from November 22 to December 23—and the cost to attend is absolutely free.
November 23, 4-8 p.m. | Crazy Moutain Brewery Taproom & Beer Garden
Head to the Sante Fe Arts District this holiday season and shop for locally made gifts for your loved ones! Enjoy perusing work from talented makers, sip on some brews from the Crazy Mountain Brewery Taproom, and support a great cause while you’re at it. A portion of the proceeds go to Art Restart, Denver’s only daytime shelter for women, transgender individuals, and children experiencing homelessness or poverty.
November 23-December 15, Weekends, Times Vary | Denver Sports Castle
What was once both the Denver Flea and the Union Station Holiday Market has been rebranded into one massive holiday experience that you don’t want to miss! For three weekends this season, enjoy shopping handcrafted gifts, festive drinks, activities and so much more. Tickets cost $5 and are available here.
November 29, 4-10 p.m. | The Shops at Northfield Stapleton

Attendees can also enjoy beer, cider, wine and spirit tastings throughout the evening. You can purchase your tickets here.
November 30-December 1, Times TBD | Highlands Masonic Temple
Everyone’s favorite holiday market is back and bigger than ever! Head to the Highlands Masonic Temple on Small Business Saturday weekend and experience hundreds of local vendors, live music, snacks and more. For more information on participating vendors, visit their website.

With over 70 vendors, you won’t have a hard time finding the perfect presents for your favorite people. In addition to shopping, you’ll also get to enjoy food and fashion trucks, beer and cider tastings, bottomless mimosas, live music, and more!

An eclectic Holiday Market is coming to Denver’s most historic block, Larimer Square, this December. Join in on the holiday shopping experience featuring more than 40 carefully curated local makers.
