Even if you’re not a visitor and live in Denver full time, you can still get a lot of value out of this app from the Denver Tourism & Visitors Bureau. Get information on local restaurants and attractions; find out about local farmers’ markets and upcoming events; and use their handy itinerary builder to plan your entire day.

Sure, a trash and recycling app isn’t the most exciting on this list—but it may be one of the most useful! This simple-to-use app from the City and County of Denver, helps you figure out exactly when your trash collection day is and sends you a push notification when you need to have your items out for pickup. You can also use it to look up specific items to see how exactly to recycle them.
