Coohills Restaurant and Bar is celebrating its 4th Anniversary this Friday, November 6th 2015, at 7pm with a special Franciscan Wine Dinner!
Coohills is a French-influenced, Colorado grown, restaurant and bar in the LoDo (lower downtown) neighborhood. They focus on local, regional, and farm-fresh ingredients by partnering with local and regional farmers for fresh produce, fish, poultry and meats. Their delicious food will make you feel like you are enjoying dinner in Europe and their sleek and modern interior design (along with their open kitchen) creates a beautiful setting for the night.
Also, the restaurant’s location, is in my opinion, one of the best in the city. Their outdoor patio space is adjacent to the bridge over Cherry Creek with views of the majestic Rocky Mountains in the background.
Coohills’ 4th Anniversary Franciscan Wine Dinner will include 5 Franciscan wines specially paired with Chef Tom’s 5 customized courses and Winemaker, Marla Carroll, from Franciscan Estate Winery joining the event to educate and engage with guests on the exclusive wines. They will also be giving away a special parting gift to each guest and a grand giveaway at the end of the evening!

Second Course: Branzino “a la plancha”, Kale salad, cranberries, hazelnuts paired with ~2012 Franciscan Cuvee Savage Chardonnay, Napa Valley
Third Course: Boulder Organic Chicken “coq au vin”, Pomme puree, bacon, pearl onions, red wine, parsley paired with ~2012 Franciscan Cabernet, Napa Valley
Fourth Course: Roasted Double R Ranch Strip Steak, Burgundy snails, butternut squash, sage, Baumaniere potatoes paired with ~2012 Franciscan Magnificat Cabernet, Napa Valley
Dessert Course: Valrhona Gran Cru Chocolate Apple Tarte Tartin, Creme fraiche ice cream, apple crisp paired with ~Franciscan Port N/V
