Colorado Mills will re-open at 10am on Tuesday, November 21, 2017, in anticipation of the holiday shopping season.
As the largest outlet and value retail shopping destination in the state, Colorado Mills announced that over 100 stores and eateries that will be opening throughout November and December such as: Michael Kors Outlet, J.Crew Factory, LEGO, Eddie Bauer Outlet, Victoria’s Secret, Yard House, Off Broadway Shoes Warehouse and Burlington.
Extensive restoration efforts have taken place at the property since the devastating hailstorm that occurred on May 8, 2017
Six retailers with exterior entrances to Colorado Mills opened earlier this fall, including Dick’s Sporting Goods, Jumpstreet, Super Target, United Artists Theatres & IMAX, Yard House and Yoga Pod.
“We are delighted to reopen for the holidays with so many options for our loyal customers,” said Gregg Goodman, President of The Mills, a Simon company. “We are grateful for our community’s patience, thankful to all the men and women who have labored tirelessly to get us to this point, and look forward to the balance of the tenants reopening in the next several months.”
Goodman added that Simon was also motivated to open as many stores as soon as possible so that employees of those stores could get back to work by the holidays. “The number of openings exceeded our expectations so we couldn’t be happier,” he said.
Work on the common areas will continue during evening hours extending into early 2018 and more retailers will open during this timeline. The Beck Group, an integrated commercial construction firm, is managing the restoration process and the design-build teams.
“We look forward to holding a formal grand re-opening in 2018 once all work is complete with a celebration, family-friendly events, and of course, a great shopping experience for all of our visitors.” added Goodman.
