The Denver Ear is also hosting its own special Oscars 2016 ballot. Submit your winner predictions for Best Picture, Best Director, Best Actor in a Leading Role, Best Actress in a Leading Role, Best Actor in a Supporting Role & Best Actress in a Supporting Role and win a $25 AMC Theatre gift card if your predictions are correct. * All submissions that have correct predictions will win. In the event that no ballots have correct predictions, winners with the most correct category predictions will win. Ballot submission time ends at 5pm on Sunday, Feb. 28th 2016. Any submissions past this time will be void. One ballot submission per person. False submission of multiple ballots under different aliases will void all submissions by the submitter regardless if any found to be winners and submitter will be banned from participating in any future giveaways and competitions held by The Denver Ear. 2016 Hollywood Award Night Viewing Party | Denver Film Society

Time: 5pm – 9pm
Cost: FREE
The Denver Film Society is hosting a special and free to the public Oscars watch party at Sie FilmCenter! Ballots will be available for a suggested $10 donation, prizes available. Drink specials all night long, including $25 bottles of wine and champagne.
Doors open at 5pm. Seating is first come, first served. Red Carpet arrivals begin at 5pm and can be seen in their Henderson’s Lounge.
The Awards Ceremony begins at 6:30pm and can be seen on one of two screens. One screen will be for the serious viewers (no talking), the other house will be lights up and more of a party atmosphere.

The Breckenridge Film Festival is hosting a special event to celebrate Hollywood’s premiere awards night of the year. Walk the Red Carpet and enjoy heavy hors d’oeuvres and beverages. The party kicks off at 5:30pm on February 28th, 2016 and runs until the Best Picture is announced. They encourage Red Carpet attire to take advantage of prizes for Best Dressed, Best Shoes, the Sally Kirkland Trainwreck and other awards. Don’t forget to study up for their Academy Awards ballots (must be purchased and submitted prior to 6pm on Feb. 28) and Hollywood trivia!
