The Children’s Museum of Denver at Marsico Campus is once again hosting its Trick or Treat Street, this time for three consecutive days of spooktacular fun.

Families can go from one Treat House to the next and collect goodies, create Halloween crafts, play carnival games, trick or treat, enjoy a Monster Carnival, learn about Spooky Science with Museum educators, taste and enjoy Fang-tastic fall treats and activities in The Teaching Kitchen, ride the Rocky Mountain Mini Train ($2 – cash only), and more!

Elitch Gardens is hosting its month-long Fright Fest during the weekends in October that features a special Family by Day event for all ages! Little ghosts and goblins can enjoy Free Candy on the Trick or Treat Trail and partake in several Halloween themed interactive challenges.

Events include the Ghouls Match, where contestants battle it out through various Halloween themed challenges and activities; Scream it Out, an ear-splitting shrieking contest; a costume contest, and of course candy.

The Railroad Halloween Town is a safe place to enjoy Halloween. Catch a ride behind the historic locomotive in vintage passenger cars hosted by conductors and engineers in full costume.

Visit all of the Town’s special stops to fill your treat bags and tickle your funny bones including the “not so spooky” haunted railcar and the Olde Railroaders silly graveyard. And, get a great picture of your costume as you pause in front of their Pumpkin Patch cart.
